Mr. Peterson has sourced and executed investment banking transactions including leveraged lending, high yield debt, equity underwriting, private placements, mergers and acquisitions, and divestitures.
His experience provides in-depth corporate finance and strategic alternatives analysis and solutions, transaction leadership in the areas of exclusive company sales, private placements of equity, targeted buy-side acquisition advisory, fairness opinions, valuations and defensive advisory as well as positioning, negotiation and structuring strategies aimed at maximizing shareholder value.
Among positions held prior to joining Alliance, Mr. Peterson served as:
- Head of an investment bank where he and his team doubled revenue within a period of 12 months;
- Portfolio advisor for an international $1.2 billion distressed hedge fund, where he analyzed, invested, restructured and divested a variety of distressed assets; and,
- Vice President of the Global Automotive Group at one of the world’s leading financial institutions in New York where he provided primary client coverage and deal execution for automotive OEMs, Tier I and II suppliers and after-market distributors.

Mr. Peterson is a current member of the Turnaround Management Association. He holds a B.A. in Philosophy from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine, and an M.B.A. from the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire. He completed his preliminary thesis research at Oxford University in England.
