Jim has worked on behalf of debtors, creditors, investors and unsecured creditor constituents.  While with Alliance for the past 10 years, Mr. Hajek has developed and executed reorganization, liquidation and strategic business plans, negotiated complex restructuring and refinancing transactions, and managed the wind-down of companies in several industries.  Prior to Alliance, Mr. Hajek held management positions at Smarte Carte, Inc., MSI Insurance, and Ernst & Young. 

 

A frequent speaker and published writer on corporate renewal, Mr. Hajek is an active member of the Turnaround Management Association, which has recognized Mr. Hajek and his colleagues with awards for 2007 Turnaround of the Year (for Minnesota Elevator, Inc.) and 2009 Transaction of the Year (for Lyman Lumber, Inc.).  Mr. Hajek has also served as TMA's Upper Midwest Chapter board member, Chapter President, Vice President of Programs, Vice President of Membership, and International board member, serving on the Chapter Resource and Response Council.

 

Mr. Hajek holds a B.S. in Accounting from St. John's University and an M.B.A. in Finance from the University of St. Thomas.
